"Like the fit. Still need to find jeans that do not gap at the waist. These gap the least of all other brands I tried on. Still had to have them tailored."

"I have three pair of these jeans that I have worn for 15 years and decided to get new ones. Still wearing the old ones, too, and love them. The fit is perfect and they are so comfortable. I really like the new stretch waistband."

"These are comfortable jeans! The only reason I gave it a four star on fit is one of the pairs I received(out of two that I purchased) gaped in the back just a little. I normally have that problem with other jeans, but have found Lee jeans to not do it so much. Highlly recommended, especially if you have problems with fitting your hip to waist ratio. (Gaping in the back)"

"I love the way these jeans truly don't gap in the back. They're very comfortable. The only flaw with the one pair was that when I tried it on, and went to button them, the button came apart. Other than that I really like the rest of the jeans."

"Very comfortable waist, without visible elastic. Look just like any other jeans. Length is kind of a shot in the dark, though, so you might be better off buying them in a store where you can try them on, I have 7 pair, in different colors, and they seem to get shorter as they get darker. The black ones, which aren't made anymore, apparently, were 3 inches shorter and 2 sizes bigger than the blues, and I tried 3 pair. The lighter colored ones seem to consistently be the correct length, but most of the dark ones are too short--I had to have the hem taken out and lengthened. If you put them in the dryer you probably will end up with capris unless you are very short. I'm only 5'5". But, one of the dark pairs is a normal length so maybe this problem is being straightened out."

Cons: have to try on each pair because size varies.

"These are the only jeans that I can find to fit. I am a bigger woman and short, so it is hard to find a jeans to fit me...they usually gap in the back really bad. The comfort waist is excellent! I would highly recommend these jeans to anyone! Thank you Lee Jeans."

"The hidden elastic seems like a good idea, and yes - you don't get the gap when you sit. However, the elastic is uncomfortable. It rubs against your skin and was itchy for me. After wearing the jeans for one day, my skin was red and irritated. I woul dnot recommend these. I love Lee jeans and they are the only jeans I will wear, but I will be sure not to purcahse anymore with the elastic in the waistband."

Not what they used to be

"I had bought these jeans 2 yrs ago from a local store. They were the most comfortable jeans I ever had. They stretched real nice, especially at the waist. And the fabric was soft and not too heavy. Tag said 98% cotton, 2% spandex. So last fall I ordered 5 pairs. But my online jeans were not comfortable, they were “ordinary”. The label showed 99%cotton/1% spandex. And the weight was a lot heavier. This 1% difference in fabric makeup surprisingly made a huge difference in comfort. (I returned them all).
However, the Comfort Fit *pants* were still the 98/2% mix, so I hurriedly bought 6 pairs.
One other thing ... the lengths changed so that I had to hem all the ones I ordered online by 2" (I'm 5'7 and ordered Medium). I don't know if the Short would have worked better.
