Better than ever

"I have recently purchased new, black Lee Relaxed Fit jeans. I noticed a change in the fabric and I like it. It's smoother and less prone to wrinkles. So far, the color has stayed well...I wash on cold and use Woolite Special Care, and hang to dry. I wear these jeans ALL the time...I can dress them up, or down, and they look great. Thanks, Lee, for making jeans that fit!"

Great jeans for a curvy 50-something!

"I bought a pair of these jeans at a local store and wanted a pair in another color and ordered online. They don't gap in the waist to accommodate my curves like other jeans! The cut of the thighs is comfortable, yet stylish. Most important is the availability of Longs."

Fit Not Good Due to Fabric Change

"Relaxed Fit Lee jeans have been the only jeans that I have worn for 10+ years. Then I bought several pairs only to discover that they are no longer 99% cotton and don't fit me well like they used too. I tried a larger size to see if that helped the fit in the hips and thighs but then they were too big in the waist. In general, I think women who want a "relaxed fit" jean don't want such a high percentage of clingy spandex."

"Why, oh why, don't they make these jeans in popular fashion colors like red and royal blue??? They fit great and don't gap in the back. My only design suggestion would be to put more flattering pockets on the rear.."

Good jeans not best material

"I have always loved the fit of the relaxed fit Lee jeans, however, I am not a fan of the stretch denim. I prefer the 99% cotton 1% spandex from several years ago. I wish Lee would give us an option to purchase these jeans in that denim.
These are an okay substitute but they fit much closer to the body and aren't truly "relaxed".
Lee, please bring back the non-stretch denim."

"Absolutely so pleased with my new jeans. Bought a pair of black, they fit so good had to get some more, so got two different blues. Great fit and so comfortable. Have to wear them to work and these are just what I need great fit, and comfort and also very sturdy.THANKS!!"

"Relaxed fit in a size 16 is so hard to find in the stores. This syle fits in the waist and does not leavie a gapping waistband, but I find they are really tight in the legs. Tight legs is not a good thing in an older woman. Line dried the pants after washing and it left them crunchy stiff."

drop the stretch

"These are not the classic 99% cotton, 1% stretch jeans that hang comfortably from the waist and do not cling to the body. These have too much stretch, tightly hug your buttocks and thighs. The thighs area rides up when you sit, and you have to pull the thigh area down when you stand up. Hint: Not all of us want jeans fitting like a girdle."

"These jeans fit everywhere (waist, hips, legs, and length); they are not too tight or too loose. They are comfortable to sit in as well as to take a walk. I am so glad to have found these jeans, since I generally have a hard time finding jeans that fit (small waist & short length). These truly are relaxed!"

"These jeans actually do come up to the waist. The quality could be better and the fabric more like real denim. Please, not all of us seniors want our jeans riding low. If you provide good quality jeans, the huge population from the sixties will make you a fortune."
