"I have been buying these jeans for years and absolutely love them. Being in Ca. the weight of the material is just right. The wash well and no ironing is necessary if pulled right out of the dryer. Good value for the money."

"I always buy this side elastic type. For a fuller figure woman's cut they fit perfect. I am 5_6 and length is perfect. Wash, and dry and nevershrink. Long lasting."

Bad Fabric

"I bought two pairs of these jeans in my normal size, (which I"ve loved in the past) and the first two tore out along the zipper the first time I wore them. The first pair I returned, and the second pair I threw into a drawer in disgust because I was embarrassed to return them. I then ordered a third pair in the next size larger, and I'm wearing them, but I hate the clingy fabric and the tighter fit. FYI - "Fat" girls don't want "skinny" jeans. Makes us look even bigger. Please bring back the old fabric, and also, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE offer them in white and some springy colors. Thanks!"

Button not attached

"This pair of jeans came to me with the button not properly attached. I opened the package and the button fell out. The back side of the button was bent and did not attach to the button. Just so happens I do a fair amount of sewing and I had a jeans button to fix the problem."

"Have always loved the quality of Lee jeans, have purchase side elastic jeans in the past and was pleased. However, proportion of waist to hips & legs on this pair was not good. Waist was very tiny; hips and legs were like a pair of riding pants on steroids. I had already removed and discarded the tags, so I couldn't return them. Altered them 3 times and I can now wear them, but could not alter them to totally fit as I would like. Would not purchase relaxed fit again. Again, Lee has a good name, but this pair didn't work for me."

Tears too soon

"I have had three pairs of these jeans develop a hole along the side of the zipper long before they were very worn. On the last pair the hole ripped open as I was wearing them causing huge embarassment!!!"

"LOVE THESE JEANS! I probably own about 15 pair! I like to have 5 or 6 pair in whatever size I happen to be. I can always count on this style to fit comfortably, and to look good. These jeans are the only ones I wear. I have them in all three colors. They're great!"

"I am an "odd" size.. 16W is a little snug, and 18W can get a little 'baggy', but this jean (with the side elastic) fits my needs and has a nice fit with a perfect length. Started our with the blue denim, but just bought a pair of black.) I used to be able to get this style locally, but now my store carries only the largest sizes, so I had to hit the internet. Glad I found this location, but now I pay more, plus shipping and handling.. but at least I can get my pant!!!"

jeans for a short gal

"I am 5'1" and have a very difficult time finding pants/jeans that don't have to be cut off 6 or more inches to fit my height. These jeans are wonderful. And I love the side elastic. The material is not heavy and I feel like I do get air through the legs and other places for a comfortable fit! Could cost a little less but I find paying the additional couple of dollars for pants/jeans I don't have to alter just peachy!"

"I bought two of these in different colors. The dark indigo was way more comfortable than the light stonewash, for some reason, but both tended to bunch up in the crotch and both were a little short. They felt like old lady jeans. I lost some weight and they swallowed me so I gave them away. I got some jeans with the comfort waist band I like that way better."

"I have short legs, so sometimes even petite sizes are too long. My butt is big, but my waist is smallish. So, when I buy for my butt, the waist puckers out almost 4 inches! If I buy for my waist, the butt is too small. These jeans fit me PERFECTLY from waist to butt to length!! They are soooo comfortable!! I absolutely LOVE them!!"
