Waist was too small

"I have worn slender secret jeans for the past few years; however, the waist on this was just too tight. The length was good, the style was great, but if you can't zip them up, well, back they go..."

Great Jeans!

"I also posted a review for the "June" Barely Bootcut jean which has a similar fit. My opinion of this jean is the same. This is a great pair of jeans! They are slimmer fitting but not tight. They stretch out a little when wearing but do not get baggy. The waist never binds when sitting because there is enough stretch for comfort. The waist also does not gap in back. I usually "half dry" my jeans because of the possibility of shrinkage. I fully dried the "Slender Secret June" pair by accident and thought that would be the end of those jeans for me. I put them on expecting to be stuffed in like a sausage. The fit was snug but after a few knee bends, they relaxed and are back to perfect! I have also worn these "Scarlet" style jeans and they are equally comfortable.
In closing, I have to admit that I am not a young person wanting jeans that look like leggings (as someone wrote in another review). I am 62 years old and I wear a 6S. I do not want jeans that are tight at the waist (the middle section tends to thicken with age) or inappropriate for my age. These jeans are not tight and uncomfortable, and they do not end up saggy and baggy in the butt. These jeans work for me. I highly recommend either style."

"Well I'm in my 30's and this are the best jeans ever. Im so happy I finally found jeans that look so pretty on me. The boot cut style doesn't feel like leggings at all. They are awesome and they won't get bigger while you wear them like regular jeans. : ))"

Leggings for jeans

"These are terrible. If you want leggings go for it. If you want 1% spandex jeans these are not them. They fit just like leggings and I want real jeans not elastic fitting jeans. Would not recommend these to anyone over 25."
