"I've been wearing the side elastic jeans for years but this time I had to send my order back. The waist fit wonderfully, as usual, but the thighs were way too baggy. I'll have to try another style but these don't gap at the waist like all other jeans do."

"I have to teach all day, so I need to wear something comfortable and casual where I work. The side elastic gets me through the end of the day when I might be experiencing a slight water gain or bloating. The pants still feel comfortable, look good, and aren't wrinkled. Thank you Lees!"

"The black side elastic Lee Jeans are all that I wear. They are affordable and comfortable. My only two complaints are the more I wash them the more they fade. And I can't find them in any store. I wash in cold water. I don't know what else to do about that."

Not what I expected

"I purchased a pair of side elastic relaxed fit denim jeans several years ago and just absolutely love them!! I ordered the same size and style recently, but was quite disappointed when I received them. The legs were huge and ballooned out. I returned the jeans that very same day. I wish Lee would still make the side elastic jean that sits at the waist as they did years ago. This relaxed fit is much too loose."

"Have worn these jeans for years and love their fit. They are forgiving when one gains and loses. And....most important of all....the waist sits on top of my hips. With the rage in low cut jeans these days it is difficult to find one that compliments the mature figure. Putting the waist band where it is allows for a slimmer look for me."

"They are the best fitting jeans - long enough - comfortable for all day wear -
BUT if they fit when they are new Don't put them in the dryer.. no no no They wash beautifully - color stays great and soft - so soft after washing. So I just put them on the line and they are better than purfect.
Love those lees."

"These jeans are terrific especially for those of us who have smaller waists. In the past I had to worry about waistband exposure when I stooped or just sitting in a chair leaning forward, but these jeans fit comfortably at the waist -- and the elastic is only on the sides so it never shows. Best pair of jeans I have found in a very long time. I would buy a pair in every color!"
