"I love these jeans. They fit great and look great, too. They do sit a little high in the waist, which took some getting used to. But, other than that, they are great jeans that wash well."

"I have a thing about pockets, so I find this jean perfect. Besides the relaxed fit it doesn't emphasize my rear end. I'm glad it comes in the darker wash."

"Great fit, never too tight in the waist, you can get the right size and length for that perfect fit. I use to be able to purchase at the local stores but now it is so much easier to go online and have them mailed right to the house. These are the only jeans I where, wish they came in a few more colors."

"Absolutely the best jeans ever!! I am smaller in the waist than my hips and I am older, jeans that fit below my waist are not for me. These fit "right at the waist" and with the elastic on the sides, they never gap in the back! When they are on sale and no shipping charge they are a very good deal! I have ordered 12 pair over the years and they are all still in great shape!"

"I have a larger waist and with other jeans I have to go to a bigger size that fits my waist but not the rest of my body. Not so with these jeans, perfect fit around the waist, seat and length. Quality that lasts."

Better fit than other brands

"This brand never "gaps" at the waist. The style is perfect for those of us who have waists that are so much smaller than the hips. Generally if I purchase jeans to fit the hips I have a gap of two inches or more at the back of my waist-not so with the side elastic style. The color selection is good, and it's great to find them in Petite so that I don't have to "cuff" them up or have the hems drag on the ground and get tattered edges like other brands who forget not all of us are over 5 foot 4inches tall... Thanks for giving us this great way to find and purchase a product we love."

"I was a little reluctant to buy jeans with an elastic waist, but these are GREAT. I have a small waist and a rounder rear end, which makes it very difficult to find jeans that fit correctly. These are perfect for me. They make me look slim all over and hide my flaws. I wore them to a casual business lunch and my husband said his friends were going to be jealous of him. They are both flattering and comfy. My new favorite jeans!"

"I love the side elastic jeans. They're the best fit I can find anywhere. My concern, though, is why the light blue jeans, called "bleach" are shorter than the other colors. I am now preparing to return the second pair of such jeans."

"I love Lee Jeans. The former, all cotton Lee jeans. These jeans used to be 100% cotton and are now 1 - 2% spandex. The fit has changed because of this. They are much looser in places they shouldn't be. I keep having to pull them up when I wear them, although a smaller size doesn't fit at all. The pair I purchased are also stiff in the seat, so they don't drape properly. I will keep them and wear them, hoping they will soften up. I will not be purchasing the blended jeans in the future and will wait until they begin to make 100% cotton again."

At last! Reason to wear jeans again

"Highly recommended. I'm not a denim fan - HATE blue denim; it's too much like a uniform - but I'll make an exception for jet-black jeans. However, I hadn't worn them in 20 years. Reason? I'm long waisted, short legged for my height and petite (5'2"), and jeans that fit are awfully hard to find. 20 years ago, I could get Lee petite back-elastic waist jeans at my local Carson Pirie Scott store, but then they stopped carrying them. Finally discovered Lee.com and ordered these side-elastic pants 4 months ago. Terrific!! Great fit, wash well, don't shrink, and the inseam wasn't too long -- I didn't have to hem them at all! Usually, even for petite pants, I have to turn up 3-5" (what a drag), but these work just fine. Now you can hardly get me out of them, they're so comfortable. Only one complaint: because of the wretched Spandex in them, I had to order one size larger than I normally wear (14P instead of 12P) because I don't care to look or feel like a stuffed sausage. Knowing that, I ordered one size up and still got a good fit. But they're only a bargain on sale, of course. Who needs designer jeans when I can get these for 40 percent off? Not me! PS - I recommend washing them in lukewarm water in Woolite for black clothes to keep them from fading."

"I go crazy trying to find jeans that fit. I'm short and chubby and way over 21 and the Petite side elastic jeans are extraordinary.These fit great! I even get away with wearing them to work. I will never buy jeans elsewhere. You have a Customer for life!"
