"Once I found the side elastic jeans, they have become my favorite jeans. They allow for when you are kind of in-between sizes and are very comfortable. I also like that they are somewhat slimming. Love them!"

My New Favorite Jeans!

"I own these in chocolate brown, black, sand, white, & all shades of blue denim. Finding flattering white jeans can be a challenge, but these are great! Size 6 petite works well on my 5'1"/hourglass frame, with the pant legs being slightly long, but not long enough to require alterations. My only reason for rating 4 instead of 5 stars is an inconsistency in waist sizes. Although I purchased eight pairs within a couple of months, some of the waists are more snug than others. Both pairs of black (purchased at two different times) had an obvious smell (sizing, I think), which has finally subsided after several washings. I love this style...comfortable, classic, appropriate for "grown-ups" (but youthful), & without the waist gap I often experience with other styles."

Petite way to long

"I take petite to mean on the short side along with being on the tinner side. I had to cut way to much off these jeans because they were way longer than any petite jeans I have ever purchased. I would like to see Lee make different inseam sizes in petite sizes like they do mens. My inseam is only 23 inces. Short I know but if you would start out with maybe 25, 28, 30 that would sure help those of us who are on the extreme short inseam size."

"My favorite thing about these jeans is the color. I sure wish they would make the regular waist jeans in spring colors for those of us who are short and petite. These jeans also fit nicely. Although the elastic side is quite comfortable I generally wear these jeans with shirts that cover the waistband as I don't find the elastic very form flattering. I also wish I could find these in stores as I prefer to try jeans on before I buy. However, Lee jeans tend to have a consistent fit."

"I was disappointed that 3 pairs of jeans would all be different in length. Somewhere, a step in quality control and unformity is missing! In the end, one pair was exchanged and the new pair was almost 2 inches longer than the returned pair. It makes online ordering a challenge"

"I love these jeans. I bought 3 pairs in 3 colors. I ordered them because I could never find them in the stores around here. I haven't worn jeans in several years because the waist is no longer comfortable for me. These jeans fit very nicely in the waist and loose around the butt - the way I like them to be - I don't like tight clothes any more. I ordered the size by my measurement but I think I could have ordered the next size down - I am really between the 2 sizes."

"Great jeans. Fit well. Good colors.Can not find them at any local stores, so it is great that I can order them on line. My only sugestion would be to add bootcut jeans to this elastic line. Boot cut would be more flattering than tapered leg."

"I have been buying this style for years but it seems they are baggier in the leg and thigh area than I remember. Wish they were a bit slimmer cut in that area. They are very comfortable especially for traveling. The elastic waistband is helpful if you are sitting on a long flight."
