Great Style

"Ordered online with Lee to get a specific color, or so I thought. When I put in my parameters one of them was “Black”. This jean came up and I was thrilled as I own several pairs. It’s offered in Onyx. In my mind you normally associated Onyx with Black. Nope, not in this case. It's Onyx Blue and it's really just a darker blue, not even a true blue/black, which should be where you have a hard time telling if it is blue or black. However, I really like the fit, the stretch and the comfort waist as I'm older with a not so slim waist anymore. Pretty lousy color description and I’m upset that if I’m asking for Black then this jean should not come up if it’s not really offered in Black."

Waist is too big

"I ordered a size 16 and I know I have big hips, but I do not have a big enough waist to fit into this pair of jeans.
Also a note to Lee jeans - once you get beyond size 12 we do not need seamed back pockets. Nice plain pockets would be much better!"

"I really like the fit, but this bootcut is too wide at the bottom. It just swallows up my shoes. I've purchased bootcut in the past, and have always been pleased. For some reason these particular jeans seem wider than norm."

Okay fit

"I seem to be forever in search of a good fitting pair of jeans. These jeans fit perfectly at the waist, not too high and not too low. They are also very comfortable. The length was shorter than I prefer even though I ordered long. I have long legs so I like a long length of 35-36". These were maybe 34" long, possibly a bit shorter. The thighs are a bit baggy. I prefer a closer fit in the thigh. The bootleg cut is nice. The darker blue color is nice. Watch for the back pocket buttons getting caught on things. A back pocket without those buttons would have been better. I long for the days of a heavier fabric jean instead of these thin material ones that seem to have taken over the market place. Still "In Search of" a great fitting pair of jeans."

"These jeans are very comfortable and the bootcut is more stylish than a regular jean.
I have a pair in size 12, my regular size for Lee and found that they run snug. Ordered a 14 this time. Much more comfortable around the waist."

nice fabric, sits a little high on waist for me

"Sizing for a 12L was a good fit through the waist and thighs; however, I am short waisted, so these jeans sit higher on the waist that I would prefer. The comfort fit waistband is nice in that it helps avoid the muffin top syndrome, just wish that they were a little shorter in the waist. Good value, since I bought them on sale."

Onyx isn't black

"These jeans are great, except that I wanted a pair of black jeans. I ordered the Onyx color, and they are a dark blue, not black. I was really disappointed by that. I ended up returning only because the color was wrong."

best fitting jeans

"Hi, my first pair was 16wp and they fit like a funnel and shrunk to 27 inches instep. I was constantly pulling them up. I have wide thighs (30"), an ample butt (46") and a lot of belly fat (43") so I thought that a wide would fit best. This time I purchased a size 18 and they fit like a dream. They have to stretch a bit around my belly but are still comfortable. I also purchased a longer pair but did not need to (had to hem them)."

Too small, too long

"I had purchased some of these pants in a store but they are very hard to find in *short* not *petite*. I ordered the same ones I had purchased and they were too small and too long even though I am 5'3". I am disappointed to return them."

Constant color bleeding

"I have washed the Onyx color jeans three times and I still get the dye on my hands. I often sit with my hands in my lap or under my leg and then my hands look dirty and covered in dye. I love the jeans, but will not purchase this color again."

If you have big thighs - you will love these

"I have never ordered jeans on line, like most of us, all jeans fit or don't fit even if they are the same size. I was shocked they fit, I only wish they were an inch longer so I could wear them with heels. I am 5'10" and long legs and big thighs (16L). I only ordered 1 pair, should of ordered more."
