"These pants fit great and are well-made. They can be dressed up or dressed down. One thing to note: I wear a Sz. 10 Lee elastic waist jean, but I need to get these pants one size larger. The 10s in this pant are too small. So, order a size up from your jean size."

"I've worn Lee khaki style jeans almost every day for years and was disappointed that Lee no longer makes them. I was in a panic when my six pairs began to get literally threadbare. Duh...it took me two years to figure out that I could simply order these. Bingo! the same great fit and comfort. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that Lee will bring back these pants in denim."

"I ordered 3 pair of the pants. The navy and taupe pair fit perfectly the string pair are a little tight."

"I have always bought Lee side elastic pants and jeans.
They are a great fit, as my belly is a little wide and I don't have to go to the next size.
Only negative is that you can't find them everywhere, so I shop on line when there is a sale:)."

"I was disappointed with the fit of these jeans. I have many pairs of these same jeans in my closet, but the new ones don't fit very well (even though they are the same size).. I wasn't expecting the pleated front and it doesn't look as flattering as the flat front. Also, the hems were poorly sewn."

Comfortable work pants

"These are nice pants and seem to be wearing well. They sit at my waist and have room for my 5'3" 50 something blossoming mid-section without looking baggy. I ordered two pairs and plan to order darker colors in the Fall. I used to love Dockers but they moved their waist line lower so I'm very happy to find comfortable work slacks that sit at my natural waist."

You want these for warmer days

"Got these in black four months ago along with a pair of black side-elastic-waist jeans in petite. I wear these on days when it's too warm for jeans or when I need a dressier pair of pants and jeans won't do. Great fit, wear and wash fine, weren't too long for my short legs, and buying them on sale sure beats paying up the wazoo for designer jeans (I don't need those!). Besides, other pants rarely fit me correctly. These do -- they're keepers.. I'll be getting them in other colors, I expect. But beware one thing: because of the spandex, you need to order one size larger than you usually wear if you want to breathe and not look like an overstuffed sausage. And guess what? When you do order the size that fits correctly for this fabric, you won't have panty lines, either. It's a bonus."

"small waist, big butt and thighs, short stature; petite's what they call it, and lee seems to be aware of that need for gals like me, thank goodness. they've dropped their 'short' petite, which fit better, but i'm very thankful to have some jeans that fit!"

Different colors different sizes

"First of all, Lee jeans fit my pear shape the best. I have learned to stick with them because other brands do not get it! Instead of going to the store this time, I decided to just order on line. I ordered 4 pair of pants....black, blue, kahki and off white. When they arrived, I tried on the black pair...they were PERFECT. I ripped the size 14 tags off all 4 pair, threw them in the wash and was ready to wear a new pair each day. What I found out is that the black and blue are perfect. The two other pair feel like a size bigger. I wish that I would have ordered them in 12's. Which is weird...shouldn't the same pair of pants in a different color fit me the same? I am bummed that I washed them and took tags off...or I would have sent them back."

Above the waist, side elastic pants

"These pants are what I have been looking for. I can't find these in the stores anywhere. They are so hard to find with the side elastic and at the waist. Everyone can't wear pants below the waist and I'm one of them. There is not enough length from the waist to the crotch on below the waist pants. Side elastic gives me the room I need also. Thanks for these great pants."

"Material is soft and comfortable. Fit is perfect. Don't need to iron. Rise is just right. Front pleats help me look thinner. Looks very nice. Can wear with a casual or more dressy top. Love the roomy pockets in front. Waist has enough give to be roomy, not too tight."

"I had two pair of these pants years ago and couldn't find them at any of the malls anymore. Finally, found them online, ordered two pair, will order all colors. They fit perfectly. Great for petite ladies. I have small waist but fuller in hips and thighs. Most pants nowadays are below waist and they are not very flattering for my body type. I am so thrilled so find my "old friends". Thank you LEE!!!!!"

Go back to the pattern from a few years ago

"I am 5'2" and weigh 100 pounds. I recently ordered two pairs of these pants in the 4P. The crotch area is way too short and the thigh area is ill fitting; the cloth bunches up between the tops of my legs and is just ugly. If you want to look 5 to 10 pounds heavier, these are the pants to wear. I have some Lee side elastic pants from a few years ago; these older pants actually fit on the waist and have a comfortable crotch area. The older pair is really nicely made from a great pattern. The newer style is not only short in the crotch but is also not on the waist. The two pairs I ordered actually lie right below the natural waist. I am very disappointed in the fit. Shipping was fast, so that's a plus."
