Go back to the pattern from a few years ago 02/23/2010
"I am 5'2" and weigh 100 pounds. I recently ordered two pairs of these pants in the 4P. The crotch area is way too short and the thigh area is ill fitting; the cloth bunches up between the tops of my legs and is just ugly. If you want to look 5 to 10 pounds heavier, these are the pants to wear. I have some Lee side elastic pants from a few years ago; these older pants actually fit on the waist and have a comfortable crotch area. The older pair is really nicely made from a great pattern. The newer style is not only short in the crotch but is also not on the waist. The two pairs I ordered actually lie right below the natural waist. I am very disappointed in the fit. Shipping was fast, so that's a plus."

"These jeans fit me perfectly.some petite pants are too short. I was really happy to find side elastic jeans. This style is hard to find. I hope Lee never quits making them."

Side elastic colors 08/12/2009
"These pants are great, I have worn them many years. The problem is I cannot get them in the colors I used to, like Olive, dark brown etc. Plase make them in more colors. A light blue would be good, I loved the olive and dark brown would be a plus."

"Let's face it: today's "low rise, snug fitting, flashy designs on the derriere styles" do not work on every body type. These side elastic pants and jeans are great for those of us who remember where our true waistline really is, and want to keep it there! Having elastic on just the sides (rather than all the way around) makes these pants fit properly across one's "backside" without pulling or sliding, and leaves the front waistband looking like a proper pair of pants should. Very comfortable for all day wear. I buy a pair of these whenever I can!"

"I wore these jeans many years ago and then I never could find my size in stores. I finally went to Leejeans.com and found my size. Not only are these jeans comfortable, they fit and feel so well! I just love them and won't wear any other kind. The fact that there isn't any pockets on the back I guess in my cas is
