"These are by far THE best denim/pants ever, all over great stretch, waistband too. Great pants for weight fluctuations! Can wear to work then out to dinner and still feel great. They hold their shape thru the whole day. Nice and dark indigo, washes great, n ready to wear. Soft fabric, not scratcy itchy or too thick nor stiff even......4-season pants for sure, from Indiana so we get it all. Bought a pr for my daughter who's a bit larger, can't wait to here how much she loves 'em. (Price is so great, sha..ching!!) Delivery wonderful, love the fact they'll notify you when back in stock-You rock Lee.com!"

Solids great, skip the crosshatch fabric

"I've been wearing Lee for years, no matter what my size (I've been up & down over the years) they always seem to fit just right. Recently bought several pairs of the comfort waist in different colors and while the black, khaki, Java and blue jeans are the right size and length, the 3 pairs of crosshatch I bought where 1-2 inches too short and also seemed tighter in the seat. I first bought the black xhatch, found it too short, and returned it (figuring it was just a fluke), and then bought another pair of black and also khaki xhatch and found that no, it wasn't a sizing fluke, there seems to be something wrong with how they are made and also returned them). So I give the solid colors a 4+ and the crosshatch ones a 2 rating."

Dye comes off on me and my clothes

"Bought a pair at Pennys, came home and hemmed the bottoms.... my hands were covered with indigo dye. Also, there is a stripe up the sides (where the fabric was folded to cut?) that is pure white where the dye didn't "take". The fit is great, the price is right, but the quality of the fabric is really not up to the Lee standards."

Only the solid colors are rated highly

"I have several pair of the solid color pants. They fit well, launder well and have worn well, so far. HOWEVER, I bought a pair of the black crosshatch tweedy pair and they shrank so severely in the first washing that I couldn't even zip them, and I had to return them with a complaint. I would not recommend the pants made of the woven patterns, as that fabric is significantly different from the twill of which the solid color pants are made"

"Love the fit. Originally bought them at JCP. Wrote you to order direct with # on jeans. In store you got to choose length..that wasn't an option on line. I need that. Will now have to take them up. So fit is too long."

"I purchased these pants for work and they are comfortable, but have very little give. I am constantly bending and kneeling and have to "hitch" up my pants at the knee or risk ripping them out! The absence of the back pocket is also a problem for me because I need to carry a utility knife and continue to have it slip out of the front pocket."

"I have several pairs of Lee comfort fit pants and the material was lighter weight and overall the pants ran smaller. Had to send back the first pair and re-order a size up. The size 14 measured about the same as my older pants in size 12.
The material is a much lighter cotton which will be nice in the warmer months."

best fitting jeans

"I bought two pairs of these pants on line. I love Lee pants, especially the waist band which is super comfortable. The jeans fit perfectly, the right size, shape and length. I did not give them a higher rating because the cotton material was VERY lightweight and I was hoping for a heavier fabric. In fact, over the years, the material in the pants have become more and more lightweight, much to my disappointment. These pants are much more appropriate for spring and summer than winter, especially here in New England where I live. I wore them today but I will have to put them away until April. Please give us these great fitting pants in a heavier fabric. The pants are advertised as "straight leg" but really they flair out at the bottom. Not as much as a problem, though, as the light weight fabric"

Too small, too long

"I had purchased some of these pants in a store but they are very hard to find in *short* (not *petite*.) I ordered the same ones I had purchased and they were too small and too long even though I am 5'3". I am disappointed to return them."

"They fit me very nicely, they're very forgiving, and I can bend. I'm a 14, but sometimes my middle is a 16! I'm 5'5" and the mediums are a little long IF I wear flat shoes. The indigo 16 short fits me very well! I've ordered three times. STRETCH!

hard to find

"was able to wear no other jeans but the LEE relaxed straight leg for years then you changed the fit and they no longer fit - legs no longer big enough and can't pull them up past my knees. i am hard to fit - only 5'3" but need 34" inseam and a wider leg thru the thigh & knee. then i found these pants @ a store out of town. love the fit but medium is just not long enough & can't find longs in stores anywhere so i decided to try website, but most colors also not availble in long. I also had trouble with fit of 1 pair I bought - 1 of the legs fits fine and the other leg is way too tight, but bought out of town and too expensive to return, so money spent was wasted for pants I can't wear. the pants would be great if I could find what i need, also the think the price (even on sale) is quite high for everyday pants / jeans."

oversized in waist

"I bought the same pants at a local store and wanted another pair. The ones I ordered online were 2 to 2 1/2 inches larger in the waist even after washing. I tried to wear them, but they stretched out ridiculously. I don't want to pay shipping to send them back, even though they're defective, so I'll probably try to take up the waistline on my sewing machine. I ordered a 12, but though the hips fit the same as my others, somebody seriously messed up on the waistline. I'm afraid to order more even though I need some casual pants. Someone complained about the thickness, but the light khaki pants are of thick enough fabric."
