"These are by far THE best denim/pants ever, all over great stretch, waistband too. Great pants for weight fluctuations! Can wear to work then out to dinner and still feel great. They hold their shape thru the whole day. Nice and dark indigo, washes great, n ready to wear. Soft fabric, not scratcy itchy or too thick nor stiff even......4-season pants for sure, from Indiana so we get it all. Bought a pr for my daughter who's a bit larger, can't wait to here how much she loves 'em. (Price is so great, sha..ching!!) Delivery wonderful, love the fact they'll notify you when back in stock-You rock Lee.com!"

"I have always loved Lee Jeans. They fit well and I can get them in short. I have at least 5 pairs of Lee Jeans in my closet all "short" and measuring 30" inseam. This pair measured 28 3/4" inseam. When I called to return and do an exchange order, I was told that the inseam could vary +/- 1 inch. So, being afraid to again order short, I ordered medium. Of course, these are way too long and I will be paying for an alteration. Don't understand why all my other Lee pants/jeans measure 30" but these didn't."

I want my comfort waist jeans, in many colors

"These are OK for work and at least they have different lengths to choose from, but why did Lee stop making a popular and comfortable pair of regular jeans, in the comfort waist?"
Pros: Affordable, a little more dressy than regular jeans
Cons: no back pockets!

Love but Odor

"I love these jeans. The fit and styling are nice. The only problem is the "jean" smell in them. I have washed them several ways and cannot get out the smell. I have even dried them which is a No-No for me and colored clothes. Does anyone else have this issue. The pair I have is the denim Indigo rinse."

"I love the comfort jeans and pants. i have trouble finding my size in the stores that very few carry. I have trouble with pants gaping in the back, with the comfort band you dont have the gap in the back. I highly recommend them."

fits like a glove

"I love these jeans!!! they have an amazing fit. i've been buying them for many years and i sure hope you don't ever get rid of them. When i first started buying them, the jeans (in levi fabric) came with the elastic band in the waist but the jeans fabric wasn't stretchy. now they come in a stretchy fabric. i liked them WITHOUT the stretchy fabric MUCH better!! the elastic in the waist band gives me enough stretch. when the fabric is stretchy also, then the waist band tends to roll down over my belt and yes i have a muffin top. please, please, please make them again in the non-stretchy jeans fabric. i love these pants in the black, brown and tan fabrics also. i would love to see other colors, especially in the fall colors!! they're great for older women like me. i don't feel like i'm wearing "mom" jeans!!"

"Over the past year Ive managed to add a few pounds-on my waist! I saw these pants a a local department store but they never had them in tall, so I found them at Lee.Com and now I have 4 pair! The comfort waist gives you just that little bit of extra room in the waist. Great pants!"

look awful after wearing for only 3 hours

"i have several pairs of comfort waist jeans and they are great - this pair fits well and is comfortable but the material is quite thin (not at all like jeans) and were so wrinkled after 3 hours of wearing them they looked awful"

Bad Odor, Inconsistent Sizing

"I love Lee pants. I've been buying the comfort waist for years and loved them. I agree with the other reviewers, the quality control is no longer there. It is obvious that Lee is using a different supplier and it is not working. All of these pants have different fabrics and different sizing, in spite of what the posted size is.
I ordered several pairs this month. The retro black pants (black denims) had an awful chemical odor that gave me a headache and made my eyes water. I washed the pants twice and the odor is still there. It even tainted the other clothes in the dryer. I've never ever had this happen with any purchase. There is a serious problem with the dye or fabric. I will report this to Lee. The pants are going back. Don't get the black retro denims until Lee fixes this toxic problem."

"I have bought these jeans in the past, and loved them, so ordered another pair in a different color. The new jeans were too big in the waist and the leg has at least an inch to two inches more fabric in the legs. I have returned them."
