"The Platinum Label is the best fitting pair of pants I've ever purchased. Since my waist is considerably smaller than my hips and I'm fuller in the hip and thigh area, I couldn't find a pair of pants that fit properly until I found the Platinum Label. The fit is phenomenal as is the quality and workmanship. The fabric has just the right amount of stretch and the inside lining adds a nice touch. When I wear these pants I feel good in them and gives me a polished look. I have now purchased the indigo rinse, java rinse, beechwood and just ordered the black retro wash. Can't beat the price anywhere!"

"Ihave 4 pair and am getting a 5th. Please, please, continue to make these! They are comfortable, fit well and are OK for the office, especially the Java and black colors. Nice for Office Wear

"I needed some casual dress pants for work, and these are working well for me. They are quite stretchy and I think because of the spandex, they are perhaps a little warm...probably more appropriate for cooler temps. I haven't washed them yet, so hope they don't shrink, because if they do, they'll be too short. At only 5' 6", I shouldn't have to worry about this. Lee needs to offer inseams longer than 31" on their pants. Sadly, these only come in one color. I also think they are expensive, even on sale. They did wash well."

Great pants, but pricey

"I buy these only when I can get 40% or more off and free shipping. they are very nice pants and dress up a casual outfit nicely, but they must be washed like designer jeans (not after every wear) or the crease will fade into the pants and they will shrink up. They keep their soft nice look for the most part and they fit is very comfortable."

Great pants

"The jeans arrived well packaged and in great condition, and arrived sooner than expected. These jeans fit well, and are well made. They are a trouser style which is good for casual occasions that require a little more dress up than regular jeans. The length was perfect. I love these trouser jeans, and will order another pair in another color. The fit is fantastic! The comfort waistband is wonderful!"

"I love these jeans because they are fuller in the hips and thighs. The waist band tends to fold down on me when I am sitting but other than that, they are very comfortable and dressy looking! I want a pair in every color available!"

"I have such a hard time finding plus-sized jeans that will fit my thighs and hips and not gap at the back waist. These fit perfectly with no alterations, not even in the hem! The dark denim makes them dressier than jeans and the stretch in the fabric and waist makes them SO comfortable. I bought two pairs and I'm really glad I did. Great fit, great feel, great price. What more can you ask for?"

How about more colors?

"I love these jeans and have about 5-6 paris of indigo, 2 of black, 2 of java rinse. I live in these! I would love to see a white denim and maybe some of the newer bright colors, but in denim. I don't care for the sateen fabric. I have my eye on the black tweed next!
Lee please make these in more colors!"

Love, Love, Love these Jeans!

"A friend told me about these jeans and since I rarely wear anything but jeans anymore I decided to try them. I love them! They are denim but fit like trousers. So comfortable, keeps crease, so they always look nice. Can dress them up or down depending on the occasion. Perhaps you could offer a style without the buttons and flaps on the back for us plus size gals? Also consider offering the truffle and chestnut colors in plus size. Buy these jeans - you won't regret it!"

Lee's Secret - Not found in stores

"This is the 5th pr of this trouser I have purchased. I have never ever found pants that fit so perfect! I did shorten by turning hem up 1/2" and have changed out the back buttons and tacked down the pocket flaps. I am 5'3" with a curvy figure and don't need the extra bulk in the rear. Excellent purchase!"

"I love these jeans! I love the trouser jean because they can be worn in the office, on the go, date night, or just haning out with friends. They are my Classy Lady jeans and look great with heels or a cute pair of flats. You can also top it off with a blazer for a more chic look. They make your legs look long and lean! A notch above

"Lee calls these trousers. I call them jeans. I bought them in the black, the denim and the java.
Things I like:
1. These jeans are very comfortable and, overall, they didn't seem to stretch out a whole lot during the day, although I did find myself having to pull them up quite often. That is solved by wearing a belt. At any rate, they didn't LOOK stretched out as the day went on.
2. Seven belt loops, instead of the customary four or five. Really holds your belt in place along the waistband, including the back (when you sit). Additionally, the belt loops are wider than typically seen.
3. There is a self-fabric facing at the top of the pockets, which should be standard in all such pockets, if you ask me, but as manufacturers seem to cut more and more corners, it's not standard anymore. At any rate, the facing keeps the pocket lining from showing at the top of your pocket. I think they would further benefit from some interfacing underneath the fabric at the top of the pockets.
4. The pocket bags are made from a satin fabric. Because the fabric is so thin, you can press the jeans from the right side, and you don't get an imprint of the pocket bag on the right side of the fabric.
5. I hope I'm remembering correctly (as I'm not wearing these jeans right now), but I believe these have the feature wherein the pocket bags in the front are extended and stitched into the zipper facings, thus forming a wide "band," for lack of a better word, across the front of the jeans (and your stomach). This is a nice technique for no-gap pockets. Also, the placement of the pockets (horizontally, as opposed to vertically at the side seams) means no gapping and MUCH more comfortable to actually use than side-seam pockets.
6. I LOVE that there are not flashing neon lights, arrows and embroidery on back pockets, saying, "LOOK AT MY PLUS-SIZE BUTT." There are two pocket flaps (with buttons), and that's it. So much more flattering. You can unbutton the flaps, but there are no actual pockets in the back ... just the flaps. That doesn't bother me, as I don't use back pockets anyway.
7. I like that the waistband is wide (I'd guess a good two inches), and is faced with a heavy, sturdy elastic (no gathers, so don't worry about that). This forms the "no-gap" waistband.
8. I love the FIT of these jeans. The leg does not fit skin-tight from thigh to knee, as seems to be the case in a lot of jeans these days. Much more flattering, to me, with the wider leg, but not TOO wide. Has a nice width at the bottom hem, as well (looks good over boots).
9. I like that they are NOT low-cut. These jeans come to my waist, which just FEELS right to me. I dont' like the looks or the feel of low-cut jeans.
Things I don't like:
1. The pockets would be so much better if they were LONGER, so you could get yoru whole hand in there. I can't stand skimpy pockets.
2. They don't come in a long inseam (preferably 34"). They were too short for me, so before even washing them, I took out the hems and rehemmed with a VERY narrow hem. It was interesting that the black and the denim pair had a nice two-inch hem that I could let out, whereas the brown had just slightly more than an inch. In fact, I had to add hem facing to the brown ones, because there was just nothing to turn up even to make a narrow hem.
3. I paid half the usual price, on sale, and I felt like I got my money's worth. Had I paid $60, I would definitely not have bought three pairs. I don't know as they're worth that much (to me)."

Buy these jeans!

"I've never written a review in my life, but I would recommend Platinum label trousers to anyone who's looking for the most comfortable, well-fitting, good looking jeans you'll find anywhere. I bought my first pair in a nice department store, wore those out, ordered another pair, and now ordered four more pairs in other colors -- at $25 a pair after the discount. Wow, what a deal! But I would pay three times the price without hesitation. (Please ignore this comment, Lee, and keep offering such great deals. I'm a Platinum label convert for life.)"
