very comfortable jeans

"I put these jeans on as soon as they arrived in the mail I was able to wear them immediately, even with my short 5'1" self. I normally avoid jeans because I am about 30 pounds over weight and jeans are never comfortable. These jeans however are very comfortable and I love wearing them everywhere!"

"I have bought Lee's Pants for many years - I used to be able to purchase them in a major department store but they no longer carry them. First of all, the pants have changed over the years and I don't like the changes. Back pockets have been added, which I don't like, and they fit differently. They are fine in the waist but are too large in the hips and legs. Not all women have big hips, you know!!!!! The two pairs of pants I have purchased from Lees I had to have altered for that reason. Please make the pants as they used to be made - say five years ago - without the back pockets and leaner in the hip and leg section."

"I'm 5'1" with normal sized hips but a small waist. I have always had trouble finding pants that aren't either too tight in the seat and thigh or too big at the waist. These pants fit perfectly and are supremely comfortable to boot. Once I discovered these pants, they became my standard uniform since I hate dithering about what I'm going to wear. They work equally well for casual and more dressy occassions, depending on what you wear on top, shoes, and jewelry. They wash beautifully and wear forever. As they age (as all things eventually do), they move gracefully from my work/going out wardrobe into my hiking/hanging out/running errands wardrobe while still giving me an overall put-together look."

Great for work

"I have regularly been purchasing these for work for a few years (searching for and ordering by the number 495100A). The fit is good and true to my size. I don't have a problem with excess fabric at the crotch area which is a problem I encounter when purchasing pants that need to be hemmed. The length of the pants are good. I am 5'3" and short-waisted and the pants are not too long or too short for me. I wash inside out in cold/warm after every wear and have seen the color stay true for a very long time. My job can be physical and gets me pretty dirty sometimes and I have been very pleased at the durability of the fabric.
My only complaint is that, over the last couple years, they've reduced the back pockets from full pockets to half pockets. At work, I am out in the field and cannot carry a purse. My pockets were to carry my ID, money, small notepad, pen, etc. The full pockets were perfect, but now I cannot use the back pockets for much more than something tiny, like Chapstick."

"Upon finding that I needed to wear a slacks type pant for work, not jeans, I found that these fit the best for my body type. I do seem to have trouble finding these pants in the required black for my size. The ones I purchased were navy blue, which, I am allowed to wear, as I had already purchased them. I like that the navy is dark enough, that unless you are in a bright light, you can not tell that they are navy instead of black. Please start making these more available in black in the 14 petite size!!"

"The pants are great for petite ladies as in lenght but the brown pants do seem to fade out way too fast even if washed inside out and the waist size is not always true to size - some are bigger and some are tighter but would I buy more - absolutely especially if they are on sale and free shipping - anything that does not have to be hemmed is heaven"

"I love these pants...I have 1 in every color and wear them every day to work. I have a hard time finding pants to fit and these are perfect...a bit of stretch so they're comfortable, and even after frequent washings for years, they still look great. Thank you, Lee! "I have two pair of these pants and several pairs of Lee pants and jeans. Lee seems to fit me the best, but most of the time I need an elastic waist as my back doesn't have the natural curve, it's straight. Sometimes a non-elastic waistband will noticeably gap, but these don't seem to be. Though I'm constantly pulling down my shirts to make sure I'm covered back there. Also the fit around the waist, hips and thighs is good, and the length is adequate. I'm just under 5'2". However the twill fabric is a bit to stiff for me and because I can't use snuggle or any perfumy detergent, I usually depend on repeated washings to make them soft. So far it hasn't happened with these pants. Also the stitching on the hems of the pockets is scratchy, it rubs against my legs. I put up with it because it's either that or to have a gaping waistband. Also the pockets aren't very deep. Which could be good as others won't be able to see the outline of your pocket against your thigh."

"I have been wearing the plain front pants for years and have been thrilled with them. They are the only pants that really "fit" me. That was... until the last time I ordered on line----suddenly, the rise is 1 inch shorter! YIKES!! Woe is me. Why did they have to change the rise??"
